Like most other blogs, sites, what have you…at the end of the year I compose a list of not only what was great about the year but also what I think is worth checking out in the next year.
Youth Code’s next is going to be pretty high up on that 2016 “Ones To Watch” list for me and after listening to “Anagnorisis” off their just released 7″ of the same name, my expectations are through the roof.
Teaming with Rhys Fulber (Front Line Assembly, Conjure One) for their sophomore album, this small taste of what’s to come will blow new listeners away and have longtime fans salivating for the rest of the new material. Sara Taylor is absolutely on fire behind the mic yet again while Ryan William George conjures up some vicious beats reminiscent at times of FLA and Skinny Puppy with added help from Fulber’s production and Nails’ Todd Jones guesting on guitar.
