Singles! Vinyl Station, “Here Comes Your Ghost”

You know when you hear something for the first time and can kinda tell that it’s going to be huge? That’s “Here Comes Your Ghost” from Phoenix’s Vinyl Station readying an introduction that’s destined to be bigger than the mighty pachyderm that graces the single cover artwork.

With more new music just around the corner as part of the Answer Slow EP and beyond, “Here Comes Your Ghost” is just a tiny taste of what’s to come and one that, at least on this single, exquisitely embodies both Sam’s Town-era The Killers and U2 circa The Joshua Tree within its’ four minutes and change.

Patrick Andrew and Roy Cameron’s bass and drum work respectively is utterly enrapturing and practically hypnotic with the way it encircles Sturgis Waters and Matthew Thornton’s guitar refrains with Thornton delivering an earnest and impassioned vocal performance on a song that’s a fitting introduction to your new favorite band of 2024.

“Here Come Your Ghost” comes out on December 8th through H1 MASSIVE and can be yours as soon as it drops when you pre-save here. For more from Vinyl Station follow them across the interwebs when you click here, here, or here.
