A fiery tale wrapped in such a fun setting, Phantom Ocean’s upcoming new single for “I’m With The Band” is a scathing mission statement against dated tropes in the music industry that’s got edge, enlightenment, and all the things in between to make the latest from the Salem duo a must listen.
Sarah Moughan-Smith’s steady drumming leads us off and doesn’t let up throughout this two and a half minute anthem with Drew Smith’s roaring crunch on the guitar matching the energy as Moughan-Smith’s voice, like the cherry on top of this mighty musical sundae, adds that last bit of flavor to guarantee that the collective “we” will be coming back for seconds.
