With Lyall’s smoky, bluesy delivery at the forefront and accompaniment from David Ryder-Prangly on guitar and bass, Adam Stanley on those shuffling, sustained drum hits, and Drew Richards on guitar leads, “Draw Blood” serves as a mighty mood setter for a new record right around the corner (Sophomore full-length Runaway Bride is set for release sometime in 2023) as well as a perfect entry point into the world of Lux Lyall.
