Lowell’s own Fatigue continues to impress. A veritable sonic chameleon, the Darkwave/Electro hybrid’s lush sound expands far beyond simply just one or two genres especially on latest single “Hush” which sees the local outfit flourishing when faced with a strategic sonic shift.
Per social media postings on the upcoming single, “Hush” is partly inspired by the sounds of fellow local electronic maestros Ex-Hyena as Lilz Martin (AKA Sawtooth) takes Fatigue’s sound in an interesting new direction sonically while lyrically, recurring themes revolving around mental health are revisited for this Depeche Mode meets Pet Shop Boys bout of peak Pop perfection.
“Hush” arrives on November 3rd and you can head here to get your copy the moment it drops. For all else from Fatigue, including info on upcoming shows like the one happening on November 18th at Resurrection in Manchester, head here or here.
