Who doesn’t love a sick collab? Do the kids still say that? Well, we do! Because this new pairing of Maine-born artists Kevin Mccord (Of Boston’s We Demand Parachutes) and Andrew Dostie (Fake Feelings) is just that.
The second single off FF’s upcoming new EP Ghosted, “Still Trying” is a tour-de-force of gnarly Alternative Pop Punk produced by Alan Day at Ghost Hit Recording addressing those feelings that come up when bumping into an old flame. Yikes! At least the soundtrack’s killer, right? Right! Playing to the strengths of both We Demand Parachutes’ penchant for crafting Pop Punk anthems on the regular and up and comers Fake Feelings ‘ own brand of soaring Alternative Rawk, “Still Trying” is a catchy contrast from Ghosted‘s lead banger “Numb” which dropped in early October.
