A Gothic Electro burner in the vein of The Faint’s early work with sweeping old school ’80’s New Wave tendencies, the newest from Reuben Bettsak and Bo Barringer is a synthetic symphony through and through.
Hypnotic and swirling like a techno organic tornado, “In Slow Motion” is anything but slow as it continues to swell in size with layer upon layer of synthetic sheen added to the mix until the whole thing is ready practically burst. The video that accompanies directed and edited by Bettsak? Let’s just say there’s a lot happening within. Just like the song! Which means that both need your eyes and earholes to experience them over and over again to get the full immersive Ex-Hyena trip.
