Singles! En Esch, “Yum Yum Beauty & The Nasty Thief”

If our anticipation for En Esch’s upcoming upcoming new full-length couldn’t be greater already following the trio of singles released thus far, the ex-KMFDMer just dropped an epic Electro-fied banger that EASILY propels Dance Hall Putsch to the top of our “must have” list.

Sometimes it’s not so much the phrase “You can’t teach an old dog new tricks” as much as it is that “old dog” in question perfecting old tricks so effortlessly to turn them into something so special and ultimately new. Which is the vibe we get each time we tune into a recent single from the legendary En Esch.

Pairing with former KMFDM/PIG/Slick Idiot cohort and guitar virtuoso Guenter Schulz along with Gabriel Lennox and Seraph Sin on vocal accompaniment, Michael Carrasquillo adding more midi programming, and Toharsky on Russian vocals, En Esch’s “Yum Yum Beauty & The Nasty Thief” is a spiraling, sprawling almost eight and a half minute feat of throbbing, thumping Industrial/Electronic perfection. Topped with its’ message against totalitarian regimes and “Yum Yum…” is just the kind of song that taps into the heart of En Esch’s origins but also, and somewhat sadly, is just as relevant today.

“Yum Yum Beauty & The Nasty Thief” is out now through GIVE/TAKE ahead of the upcoming full-length entitled Dance Hall Putsch. You can head here or here to hear it ASAP and then follow En Esch’s socials here, here, and here to find out the latest on the new album and more.
