RNRF X In Between Days, Local Look: Dutch Tulips

Here we go again! We’re starting to dive into the local bands you should look out for at the sophomore edition of In Between Days amongst all the national acts beginning with a listen into what Boston’s Dutch Tulips has to offer! And you can see exactly what they have to offer at 215PM sharp on the Arbella Insurance stage on Day 1 of IBD (August 19th)!

Debut record Double Visions is a great starting point if you wanna come prepared before Michael Holland’s bass, Jack Holland’s vocals & guitar, Matt Freake’s drums, and Justin Mantell’s synths appear at IBD with their fantastic onslaught of Indie Rawk because there’s really something for everyone on here. Looking for some straight up RAWK then “Tell Me Your Codes” has your back. Looking for some laid back, experimental jam sesh kinda stuff? Maybe “Pez Mansion” is for you! Elsewhere on the release, “Rosemary’s Baby” doesn’t sound at all like one would expect providing a more groovy number and less a gruesome one as its’ moniker might imply, “EMDR” is like a rawkier version of Telekinesis, and “Disconnected” is the Weezer meets B’52’s mash-up you never knew you needed in your life thanks in part to some quirky keys.

Double Visions is out now and available by clicking on the stream below or by heading here which also happens to have all the pertinent links you’d need to stay in the Dutch Tulips loop and find even more music! In Between Days Festival is happening on August 19th and 20th over at Veterans Memorial Stadium and you can secure your tickets in advance NOW by heading here.
