In the grand tradition of U2’s “Where The Streets Have No Name” video treatment and many a guerilla rooftop concert moment caught on tape a la The Beatles and Limp Bizkit comes a different sort of moment captured by Nashua, NH’s own No More Blue Tomorrows. A moment at the top of a parking garage. Where (mostly) no one shows up (Insert bug-eyed emoji here). But in a good way.
With “Chaperone”, No More Blue Tomorrows is bringing you a hearty dose of some heady Honky-Tonk…from the Northeast. They’re a “a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma” and having a grand ole time doing it. And it shows in this mini-movie shot by Benjamin Bate that gives fans a snapshot into an imaginary day in the life of No More Blue Tomorrows that includes shenanigans at a local watering hole before the ill-fated outdoor concert. And in our humble opinion, we need more video treatments like this because when was the last time you genuinely had fun sitting down and watching your favorite artist rawk out on YouTube?
But I digress!
The music itself is a rollicking ruckus that easily highlights Connor Coburn and Zak Lombard’s sick strumming and Peter Owen Davis’ robust rumbling behind the kit with Coburn’s sunshiney disposition on the mic exuding a radiant energy. Trust us, if this is your first introduction to the Nashua outfit then it’s a good one to get started with!

Great song and video! Rock at it’s best. These guys exude fun and the song will stick in the brain. Looking forward to seeing them live tonight at Peddlers Daughter in Nashua and L Street Tavern in Hampton Saturday night.
