Fable In The Making: From The Ashes Of Flight of Fire…Stormstress!

You read that right, kiddies! Not a hoax! Not a dream! We have resurrected a long dormant column! But that’s not why you’re here. You’re here to find out what’s next for the ladies of Flight of Fire so without further adieu, guitarist Tanya Venom is here to tell you the news:

A STORM IS COMING….

BOSTON, MA, October 15th – In the wake of this weekend’s tropical storm and influential Hunter Moon came the inception of a brand new hard rock/metal group, Stormstress. Former instrumentalists of Flight of Fire, identical twins Tanya Venom and Tia Mayhem will be co-fronting the band singing in harmony while playing guitar and bass respectively as powerhouse drummer Maddie May Scott lays down the groove on the drums. Lore states that the Hunter Moon inspires drastic change, taking action, and stepping into your power, all of which are aspects that the band aspires to portray through their music.

“Flight of Fire will always remain a huge part of each of our identities, but the time has come to make a change and explore different aspects of our creativity and musicianship. The three of us are excited to see what this path has in store for us and nothing would bring us more joy than to share this adventure with you”

Stormstress is an all-female power-trio that promises to deliver electrifying riffs, thunderous grooves, and catchy choruses.

“The three of us have always shared a bond over heavy music. Nothing compares to the incredibly primal feeling that is invoked when you play or hear a seriously groovin’ riff. We are looking forward to being able to incorporate that feeling in our music as much as possible along with empowering lyrical messages delivered by singable melodies.”

Tia and Tanya were two of the three songwriters of Flight of Fire and they are looking forward to having a new outlet for their original creations. The trio has plans to hit the studio this winter to get working on exciting new tunes.

“ Our mission statement has always been to inspire others through the power of our music while simultaneously showing the world that women can rock with the best of them.”

Stormstress will be making their live debut this Friday night, October 18th, from 9:30pm -12:30am at Waydowntown in Provincetown, MA for Women’s Week in Flight of Fire’s stead.
